Clean Water Kenya, for the past year, has been working with Adjunct Professor Deneen Petrilla through the University of Arizona’s Online Community Outreach Department as their Positive Outcomes example for what works when taking an idea and turning it into a positive actionable project. In order to graduate online, each student must use the ‘Who, What, Where, When, Why and How’ of taking a community outreach idea and turning it into a real-time project that makes a difference in their communities. Clean Water Kenya is the positive example of choice for this online course.

Our thanks go out to Professor Petrilla and the University of Arizona for researching and choosing us as their positive example of how one person’s idea can change the lives of countless individuals whether locally or internationally. Hats off to our wonderful Board Members and Volunteers both here and abroad for their dedication and great work to bring clean water to hundreds of thousands of rural Kenyans every day!
