CAN CAN UPDATE

With 12 days to go we’ve raised $1469.00 towards our goal of $3300.00. That equates to 67 out of 150 Rain Barrels.

These much needed Rainwater Storage Barrels will be delivered to villages just prior to the next scheduled rains the end of this month. The area of the Rift Valley where we work has been undergoing a drought for the last 5 years. Rains come late and are light and infrequent. Even 1 dollar helps.

For less than a Starbucks Special Latte and Muffin an entire village can gain ‘drought insurance’ for use during this drought and for years to come. The Maasai don’t know what a Starbucks is and what they offer but they would be very thankful if they knew you gave them a Rainwater Storage Barrel instead of having a breakfast snack. So would I.
