***One of the ‘great things’ happening with Clean Water Kenya is the addition of a new Board Member: J.T. Smith.
J.T. is a banker with Citizens and also works as a Fly Fishing and River Guide at Ohiopyle. If you’re ever at Ohiopyle roaming the banks for the best fishing spot or out shooting the rapids and see a young man with a great big smile on his face, that’s J.T.. Give him a shout! He’ll be glad to help you out and also share with you the good work of Clean Water Kenya. As he says, “What this organization is doing is the greatest thing we can do as human beings.” J.T. gets us. He knows that clean water is essential to a healthy body and a healthy life. J.T. is our new Outreach Director. Welcome Aboard!
***Another ‘great thing’ that’s happened is the ‘Walk 4 Water’ event held in Waynesboro, PA. last month in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Wayneboro, PA.. Lead by Jeff Rock, President of CWK, members of the Rotary Club and town residents, the ‘Walk 4 Water’ was a huge success! The results will enable Clean Water Kenya to enlarge our ‘Saturation Process’ with another 100 Filters! Well Done, Jeff and the Rotarians!
***One more ‘great thing’ is the delivery of 243 CPF Filters in May and June! Jackson Kanga, our Kenyan Operations Director, and his 2 assistants scouted three different areas stretching from Magada Soda in the southwest to Mwingi in KambaLand in the northeast. Lots of smiles and happy faces at every delivery! So many lives being changed through clean water!
Clean Water Kenya believes ‘disease-free drinking water is a basic human right.’ We do what we do because of the need – and the need is great! And the good work we do could not be done without the faithful support of good people like yourselves. Continue to help the Maasai and Kamba people with a generous contribution today. 100% of every dollar donated goes to the purchase and delivery of our CPF Chujio Filters and Rainwater Storage Barrels. Please help save and change a life today!
