These two young ladies, Paige and Hannah Schilling of the Apostolic Gospel Church in Ramsaytown, Pennsylvania, along with their Sunday School teacher Patti Slaughter (Religious Editor of the Jeffersonian Democrat) raised $44.00 to purchase 2 Rainwater Storage Barrels to help out during the 5 year ongoing drought the Maasai are experiencing.

Their Barrels will be delivered just prior to the expected rains the end of this month. And just in time!

Notice how proudly they model their Clean Water Kenya t-shirts. Paige and Hannah recognized the need and decided to do something about it. They just went around the church asking for donations. Hannah, in particular, used some interesting collection procedures, ones that I’m not at liberty to discuss at this time. Suffice it to say, their appeals were welcomed and answered and the church, as a whole, also decided to help out.

Thank you, Paige, Hannah and Patti, and thank you Apostolic Gospel Church for instilling in your youth the time-honored truth of loving your neighbor as yourself and treating them as you would yourself, even if that neighbor is from a different culture and speaks a different language and lives halfway around the world

WELL DONE!
